Tunable white LED lighting is an innovative type of lighting that allows for incredible color changing effects. A color-tunable light source includes multiple light-emitting components, Such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs) or laser diodes (LDS) with different emission wavelengths, and multiple phosphors with different excitation and emission wavelengths. The emission wavelengths of the different light-emitting components are chosen to match the excitation wavelengths of the different phosphors. An electrical circuit powers the light-emitting components, which allows separate control of the optical power output of the different wavelength LEDs/LDs. 

The light from the light-emitting components is arranged to impinge on the combination of Phosphors such that the phosphors are excited and emit light at their characteristic wavelengths. Through color mixing, one can certainly achieve infinite lighting effects.

These LED strips come with an ingress protection of IP20 to IP68. The color temperature ranges from 1800-6500K and 2700K-6500K. LEDs used in the strips are SMD 3528 and come with 60/120/180 LEDs per meter depending on the need. The wattage of these LED strips is 9.6W, 12W, 14.4W, 17W, 19.2W, 23W per meter depending on the lumens required. The lumens output ranges from 550 to 1900 LM/mtr depending on the CCT and wattage.

These are high density LEDs which will give more brightness. Preferences change, one may require warmer lighting but over a period of time the need for cool white may occur. Tunable strips allow the user to change the color whenever required.
